Before installation of State- of - the- art facilities at the Dynasty FM 89.9 , Oyo, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the inspirational Station , a globally renowned Chemical Engineer, Biodun Ajisafe, contracted the appointments of qualified, competent and experienced personnel for some Units, including the Genes Manager and his Assistant to pilot the affairs of the Radio Station to seasoned Consultants.
The Units include, News, Programmes, Production , Engineering and Marketing .
After intensive screenings , the Consultants appointed capable personnel .
The pioneer General Manager of the Radio Station, a seasoned broadcaster and a formerAssistant Director Programmes with the Nigerian Television Authority ( NTA) was Mrs Busayo Ademiuyi, who did her best before she was relieved of her appointment .
Another General Manager , also a broadcast luminary , Mr. Segun Fawole ( Flood Baba) was subsequently appointment and has been doing best in style to actuslise the vision and mission of the Radio Station.
Thereafter , ultra modern facilities and equipment that conformed with the global dictates of broadcasting were put in place before the commissioning date was fixed.
Consequently , on the 26th of December , 2023, Dynasty FM 89.9, Oyo was commissioned by His Excellency , the Oyo State Governor , Engineer Oluwaseyi Makinde , amid pomp an pageantry .
Since then , Dynasty FM 89.9 , Oyo has continued to making the wave to the delight of the residents of Oyo metropolis comprising of Afijio, Sativa, Oyo East and Oyo West Local Governments of Oyo Federal Constituency.
Besides serving local community needs, the Radio Station promotes oral traditions, including language, music, folklore, history and businesses among others.
Dynasty FM 89.9, Oyo also provides a platform for residents to express their views, concerns, and aspirations.
IIt ensures that their unique perspectives and stories are shared as well.
