Consequently, prominent aspirants for the Alaafin stool have been showing and expressing their unflinching solidarity for the appointment of Prince Abimbola Akeem Owoade as the new Alaafin of Oyo.
They included the Chairman, Oyo Metropolitan Development Association, ArchBishop Emeritus Ayo Ladigbolu , Prince Wale Gbadegesin, Prince Kabir Gbadegesin, Prince Kasali Agunloye and USA based Prince Oladimeji Agunloye, among others .
Prince Oladimeji Agunloye came second in the race for the Alaafin vacant stool.
