Oba Owoade is knowledgeable in the history and customs of his people and sympathetic to the traditional religions, festivals and rites of his kingdom.
That is why he continues to enjoy the respect, obedience and reverence from his people because his authority and power actually come from the traditions of the people.
This could be attested to on how Alaafin Owoade put aside all activities in far away Canada where he resides, traveled down to his country home,Oyo, to honour the ancestral calling and appreciate the people for their wide acceptance.
Alaafin Owoade is a man of candour who says what he thinks, and means.
Alaafin Owoade is empathic, visionary, thus determine to give the people' the tools and support they need to succeed and reach their full potentials.

This is why many people stay mediocre. They don’t speak up at all because they are afraid of failing and so they don’t get credit for the good work they do and don’t take chances to do great work.
When something goes well, let people know about it. Not in a prideful way, but if someone asks, tell them.
If something goes wrong, take responsibility and clean up your mess. This will put you ahead of the pack even when it doesn’t go right.

Doing my day job, and even with my writing as a Journalist, I always look for ways to improve. Most of the time, the things I come up with aren’t brand new ideas, but they are restructured in a way to fit my day job or my writing practice.
Innovation isn’t making things out of anything, it is taking what is and making it better. This is the sign of a remarkable person.
